Thanks to everyone who bought a DVD in the final weeks of 2016, we were able to give $1000 to the Standing Rock Medic & Healer Council.
Yesterday, February 7, the US Army Corps announced intent to grant final easement for the Dakota Access Pipeline to cross the Mni Sose (Missouri River). They are skipping the EIS ordered in December, as well as the congressional notification period required by law. It is a response to Trump’s Presidential Memorandum directing the Corps to expedite approval of the project. This is the last stand for water protectors at Standing Rock.
The Indigenous Coalition at Standing Rock is calling for today, February 8, to be "an international day of emergency actions to disrupt business as usual and unleash a global intersectional resistance to fossil fuels and fascism." See below for lists of actions and ways to support here.
Going forward, part of the proceeds from our DVD sales will go to the Sacred Stone Legal Defense Fund. You can donate directly to the Sacred Stone Legal Defense Fund here.
